As a Barclays US Regulatory Trade Reporting Vice President you will have a great opportunity to be engaged in ensuring the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of reporting to US regulators.

You will oversee and govern nine US regulations across Equities, Options and Fixed Income Products and be responsible for implementing new regulations, driving regulatory strategy, designing key controls/ the strategic control framework and escalating key issues to the business & senior management.

What will you be doing?

• Managing critical and complex Group regulatory reporting requirements, while meeting internal and external demands and deadlines

• Maintaining knowledge and understanding of regulatory and market developments impacting on US Derivatives regulations including CFTC, Canada and SEC 

• Responsible for US FINRA regulations, including CAT, LOPR, BlueSheets, TRACE, ACT and MSRB

• Assisting in designing strategic control framework and processes for the department

• Being responsible for designing, operating and implementing all needed controls for reporting with a good understanding of the department’s RCSA process

• Reviewing and enhancing processes, Operating Procedures, Checklists and Reports to ensure they are accurate and current

• Driving optimization of processes in a control environment

• Being responsible for a new regulatory projects, as well as change management for existing processes

What we’re looking for: 

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

• Proficient in MS applications, particularly Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word

• Detail oriented with Financial services, experience managing a regulatory reporting team

• Proven ability to build, maintain and enhance relationships at all levels including interacting effectively with other key areas within the bank, and to drive overall strategy

Skills that will help you in the role: 

• 5+ years’ experience working in Investment Bank, Compliance, Operations, or Risk and Control Function

• 2+ years’ experience in Regulatory Reporting or Regulatory 

• 1+ years’ experience with Equities, Options or Fixed Income Products, understanding of the trade lifecycle and front to back process in an environment of investment banking 

• Ability to influence others and work under pressure independently with excellent written and verbal communication skills
