This is a Full-time position in Ridgefield Park, NJ posted April 1, 2021.
Job Description Supervises employees, process, and quality of moderate to high complexity testing on clinical specimens in various areas of the hospital core laboratory including hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, immunology, and chemistry.
Prepares schedules, mentors, and counsels direct reports.
Reviews quality control, competency, training, maintenance, and various reports monthly.
Provides coverage for complex testing and serves as subject matter expert on tests performed in the core laboratory.
Answers to regulatory bodies and provides requested documentation on the testing process, e.g.
CAP, CLIA, CMS, DOH, TJC).
Utilizes the Laboratory Information System (LIS) to document patient results.
