We are looking for an upbeat, detail-oriented Purchasing Manager to bring our stock department to the next level of organized greatness. Salary range $60k.   • Minimum of 3 years supervisory and purchasing experience
  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • Multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Strong budgetary, projections, and cost control skills
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional detail in follow-up

What you will do:

  • Place orders using standardized process and systems;
  • Utilize systems and vendor networks to identify highest quality products and best pricing
  • Understand budgets, and costing processes
  • Source and obtain bids as necessary from various vendors to ensure optimal pricing
  • Develop and maintain pars to meet the needs of the operation
  • Manage storeroom practices and standards
  • Organize foods and follows standardized practices
  • Deliver and store deliveries
  • Reconcile invoices with receiving and requisition reports
  • Maintain loss sheet
  • Provide reports and information to culinary team to avoid waste
  • Remains current with industry trends and is a resource for the culinary team
  • Assist with regular inventory and accounting practices
  • Responsible for the upkeep of storeroom equipment (pallets jacks, dollies, carts, scales, etc.)
  • Coordinate purchasing/storeroom needs closely with other departments
