Production Manager Responsible for the management and coordination of Assembly and Molding operations ensuring production meets output and quality goals while remaining in budget.

The Production Manager will establish shifts and allocate resources efficiently maintaining assembly operations on schedule.

The Production Manager is responsible for the training of Assembly Operations and Molding Operations employees and the discipline and morale of the staff.

The Production Manager will create and maintain documentation to ensure proper execution of production processes and adherence to CGMP.Responsible for directing all activities associated with the molding and assembly operations at the Eatontown facility in support of Company objectives.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintaining the safety of the employees.Heading up Continuous Improvement Initiatives and programs within the plant.Training and leading the implementation of SAP & MES in production.Work directly with Quality Manager to close corrective actions related to production.Strive for customer satisfaction by manufacturing products with respect to company's quality, cost and lead-time policies.Assign responsibilities, delegate authority, recruit, select, orient and train employees.Develop production plan by coordinating requirements with sales, engineering, procurement and logistics department.Complete production plan by establishing priorities, scheduling activities and employees, monitoring progress, and resolving problems.Provide manufacturing decision-making information by estimating future requirements on labor and machines.Maintain manufacturing staff performance level by coaching, counseling, disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.Achieve financial objectives by preparing Production budgets, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and compiling and reviewing costs and initiating corrective actions.Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.Organize required training (internal and external) for staff.Ensure all safety rules and regulations are respected (OSHA, etc.).Initiate plans and processes, which minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of Client, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital.Assure attainment of business objectives and production schedules while insuring product standards that will exceed our customers' expectations.Encourage use of new techniques and focus on fact based problem solving.Improve Client utilization within existing departments and processes.Manage spending against budget, controlling spending in relation to changes in production.Work to establish management practices throughout assigned areas, which include all employees' positive involvement with opportunity for constructive input and action.Continually improve safety record by addressing both physical safety issues and employee safety attitudes.

Maintain and improve housekeeping in all areas.Maintain individual skills keeping up to date with the latest production management concepts.Plan, implement and control the production schedule.Determine the human and material resources required to meet production targets.Create and implement standard operating procedures for production operations.Set and maintain product quality standards.Implement and enforce quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives.Analyze production and quality control to detect and correct problems.Determine and implement improvements to the production process.Monitor and review the performance of staff and organize necessary interventions for improvement.Confer with technical and supervisory personnel to report or resolve conditions affecting safety, efficiency, or product quality.Regulate or shut down equipment, during situations of emergency.Notify appropriate personnel to correct equipment malfunctions.Maintain safe and clean work environment by complying with company procedures, rules and regulations, and report any dangerous situations or malfunction of equipment.Participate in product and equipment investigations, report and investigate non-conformities.Read fabrication orders and communicate with coworkers in order to determine machine and equipment settings and adjustments, and supply and product specifications.Perform quality checks to ensure that products meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements.Develop and meet the budget.

Propose a productivity and investment plan.Ensure the integration of new technologies in the molding and assembly process.Required QualificationsBachelor of Science degree requiredMinimum 5 years' experience in a production environment.Detail oriented, rigorous, analytical, reactive, and good interpersonal skills.Excellent computer skills utilizing SAP, Power Point and MS Office.Independent, self-motivated.

Persuasive communicator with strong communication skills able to give presentations and training sessions.Strong leadership and diplomacy.Can work well on teams and build strong relationships.Strong industry knowledge of dispensing business.Open minded and creative problem solver in complex situations.Proven ability to communicate with executives, peers, and team members.Continuous Improvement, 5S& Lean manufacturing.
