The Consumer Lending team partners with other businesses across Wells Fargo to create and deliver transformational experiences that help customers gain access to credit. The vision for the Consumer Lending business is to leverage technology and data to make it simple for customers to easily access credit when and where they need it. Consumer Lending serves customers across the country through our distribution network of more than 5,300 retail banking branches and Home Lending offices, as well as online and digital channels.

Our Home Lending division is searching for a highly talented and motivated Individual contributor to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is Business Development in the Condominium project space.

This relationship manager’s primary responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate with Client Relationship Managers, Client Account Manager, Regional Builder Sales Consultants and Retail Sales Leaders to execute condo growth strategies
  • Work with Regional Builder Sales Consultants to have builder centric Home Mortgage Consultants assigned to all approved new construction condo projects
  • Prospect and procure relationships with top condo developers in high-priority markets (San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Chicago)
  • Leverage Commercial Real Estate to grow relationships
  • Utilize proprietary capabilities as a competitive sales tool to grow production
  • Coordinate industry/ market events – NAHB meetings, builder summits, center stage, LIFT, etc.
  • Assist Retail Sales team with procuring builder accounts
  • Provide oversight and feedback on support strategy, sales messaging and training materials 

Successful candidates will demonstrate strong business acumen, prolific verbal and written communication skills, leadership through change, and a proven ability to create engagement and drive results. 

Salary range is determined by the location of the job.
The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

CA-SF-Financial District: Min: $123,200 Mid: $176,000 Max: $228,800

May be considered for a discretionary bonus.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of sales experience, marketing experience, or a combination of both
  • 2+ years of leadership experience

Other Desired Qualifications

  • 5+ years of condominium lending experience and knowledge
  • 2+ years of sales leadership experience
  • Project approval submission, delivery and implementation experience
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority
  • Strong relationship management and proven program leadership skills, with solid conflict management, negotiation and organizational effectiveness techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to manage effectively in a heavily matrixed organization with a high degree of initiative and strong ability to meet key responsibilities with limited direction and oversight
  • Ability to communicate powerfully and prolifically to senior and executive leaders and simplify the complex
  • Proven success building and maintaining strong credible relationships with key stakeholder groups
