Learning managers act as relationship managers with aligned businesses, proactively collaborating with leaders to understand their learning requirements and designing, developing and deploying innovative, flexible learning solutions that meet the businesses’ objectives and expectations. The Learning Manager provides end-to-end ownership of learning solutions from requirements gathering through delivery, evaluation and continuous improvement efforts.

In addition to relationship management responsibilities, Learning Managers support various Center of Excellence (COE) project work across the OD Team. Learning Managers should expect to spend about 80-90% of their time on relationship management activities and 10-20% on COE project lead work.

Your Responsibilities

• Capture, analyze, synthesize and translate business requirements and concepts into multifaceted, impactful learning solutions
• Demonstrate instructional design skills to analyze needs, craft and develop both formal and informal learning solutions (including writing storyboards), and deploy learning solutions utilizing appropriate medium/media
• Evaluate, recommend and implement third party learning solutions, materials and media as appropriate, while handling vendors/suppliers
• Manage the learning budgets for associated client groups
• Collaborate with other OD teams and other departments in Human Resources to ensure clients benefit from a holistic approach to talent development
• Coordinate and lead operational details for all global learning events and be responsible for program logistics
• Identify metrics, develop evaluation methodologies, and analyze data to define project-based ROIs
• Perform quality assurance testing during the development life cycle of learning programs, products and services
• Facilitate virtual-live learning sessions via Skype, Zoom, or similar platforms
• Assess project performance against targets and achievements
• Mitigate risk by following established procedures, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior
• Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to assess and mitigate risk; raises issues appropriately

Talents Needed For Success:

• Minimum of 6 years of related experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred with Masters or equivalent experience
• Expert-level knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design methodologies
• Advanced knowledge of the capital markets, financial services, and DTCC’s business lines, products and services preferred
• Proficiency in virtual delivery platforms (WebEx, Zoom, etc.)
• Experience in leading large, sophisticated projects with tight deadlines
• Knowledge in defining and calculating learning ROIs
