A career in Learning and Development, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to contribute to the success of our people by developing quality and relevant learning initiatives that constantly improve the PwC experience. You’ll help us identify and source the best instructors, develop learning and performance improvement solutions across traditional and virtual classroom environments, and consult with other areas of the Firm to ensure our curriculums and initiatives support the PwC strategy.

Our Learning and Development Curation team ensures proper cataloguing of all learning and development materials. As part of our team, you’ll execute day to day activities such as cataloguing all learning and development materials developed both internally and externally purchased and ensuring they are represented within PwC’s learning management system.

  • Researching learning content providers and making recommendations based on defined criteria;
  • Possessing knowledge of topics such as Information Science, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Data Analysis, Data Wrangling, Agile Project Management, Cloud Data Science, Automation, Dev Ops, and Product Management;
  • Displaying experience with personal and organizational brand cultivated through thought leadership presented on social-media, at conferences, in whitepapers, etc.;
  • Curating content based on defined learning objectives and criteria;
  • Managing teams in a highly distributed and ambiguous environment;
  • Researching, developing and maintaining skills frameworks that are relevant for jobs of the future;
  • Managing a high output workload in a highly ambiguous environment;
  • Obtaining and reviewing data analytics from learning products, using that data to influence and direct future designs;
  • Managing the content lifecycle including reviewing, processing, retiring, and meta tagging; and,
  • Advising and managing intellectual property considerations and process.

Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success in a professional services environment utilizing an array of digital skills to drive higher value, lower cost, and a tech-enabled learning experience, including:

  • Using design thinking (including persona development, affinity mapping, journey mapping, and prototyping);
  • Using agile project management techniques (including sprint planning, backlog management and sprint review);
  • Maintaining knowledge of current and emerging learning technology trends and experience innovating with new learning technology tools;
  • Analyzing data and communicating data insights to drive decision making (leveraging market leading tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, etc.); and,
  • Leveraging the Google suite of tools to drive efficiency, productivity, and collaboration.

Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or proven record of success in understanding how PwC works and it’s ecosystem by understanding PwC’s product and service offerings, applying a system thinking mindset to better support PwC business skills and knowledge development needs, having an understanding of business concepts (e.g., strategy, organizational design, management/operations, finance, marketing, economics, sales) to inform content review and client deliverables, and understanding key dynamics of the global business ecosystem.
