Groundkeeper Supervisor

Accentuate Staffing is assisting an established school in the Raleigh area recruit for a Groundskeeper Supervisor.

This is a temp to hire opportunity, working on 1 st shift (7am-4pm), with some required overtime as necessary.

Responsibilities: Supervisor will supervisor grounds crew, set schedules, and plan work assignments Supervisor will train new hires, and conduct periodic performance reviews Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining all of the school grounds, including practice and playing fields Supervisor will assist with mixing and applying chemicals and fertilizers Supervisor will be responsible for operating ride on mowers as well as trimming and pruning hedges, bushes, and trees Supervisor will assist with preparing the campus for severe weather, as well as snow and ice removal Supervisor may be required to work overtime on some nights and weekends as necessary based on severe weather or campus events Requirements: Candidate must have a 2 year degree in Turf Management or Horticulture or 5 years equivalent experience Candidates must have 2 years supervisory experience in a related field Candidate must be very comfortable applying fertilizers and chemicals as well as maintaining grounds Candidate must be practiced in operating a variety of equipment to include mowers, hedgers, blowers, edgers, etc.

Will be required to pass a criminal background check and drug screen Job Requirements: Assure compliance with emergency management policies, processes, and procedures Ensure consistent performance and adhere to standards Deliver efficient, cost effective, and high quality case management services to injured workers by supervising and training of assigned employees Organize, and oversee staff to ensure timely completion of assessments Work closely with other departments and administration Establish and maintain proficient level of system knowledge/li Covering the Bristol, Wytheville, Marion, Galax, Big Stone Gap or Pennington Gap region Meet the clients’ individualized needs Participating in branch staff meetings to relay company specific information Meet the established performance & productivity targets Anticipate customer needs and proactively develop solutions Provide inservice training for staff in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures Supervise, and mentor a team of Case Managers Manage difficult, complex and catastrophic patients Ensure case managers are providing or arranging appropriate, quality services Meeting the established turn-around times and all regulatory and health plan requirements Supervise the care managers and assist with problem solving difficult issues including referrals for CT skilled services and referrals to other agencies and community resources Develop and implement new policies and procedures Orients/trains case management staff on case management processes Identify the need for and participate in the development and implementation of Care Management and Utilization Management policies and procedures and ensure compliance to promote cost-effectiveness Evaluated in part based upon performance of the tasks listed in job description
