High-Level Job Description
The Editorial Director will oversee a range of editorial programs, working directly with medical experts and key opinion leaders across a range of specialties, for both print and digital products.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Interviewing experts across wide range of medical specialties
• Writing and editing program content, and finalizing with medical experts
• Working with medical writers to develop long form medical content as necessary, and finalizing that content with medical contributors
• Writing content for condition landing pages
• Coordinating all tasks with Project Manager using WorkFront
• Working with specialty editors/art/production to track content needs for each product
• Coordinating content posting to external platforms

  Appropriate Work Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in medical digital publishing
• Medical/science television journalism or related digital storytelling experience helpful
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism or a similar field preferred or equivalent years of editing related experience
• Highly detail oriented, organized, and self-starter
• Ability to work under deadline
