is a regional ancillary services provider of commercial clinical laboratory testing serving the outpatient physician office market.

Currently we have an opening for a Billing and Revenue Cycle Director Responsibilities: Oversee revenue cycle operations, including personnel and processes, both domestic and overseas teams for Billing Data Entry, Claims Submission, Posting of Cash and Payments, Month End Close, and Work Lists for staff to move claims through the billing process.

Oversee all personnel and duties as necessary to complete and submit claims and ensure timely payment in a compliant and ethical manner.

Continue to develop, implement, and manage the billing systems software for the functions of Billing, Accounts Receivable Collections, Sales Commissions and providing/creating routine and Ad Hoc Management Reports for analysis.

Provide oversight and ensures timely maintenance and updating of system settings, tables, and data integrity.

Oversee the management, and routine audits of billing practices, ensuring continued compliance of CMS, CLIA, STATE and FEDERAL, rules, laws, regulations, and guidelines.

Provides ongoing training to team members regarding billing and compliance practices.

Communicates with software vendors and IT department ensuring up time and maintaining production.

Reviews, recommends and prioritizes business enhancement requests from end users, sales and management teams.

Evaluates and advises on the impact of long range planning, introduction of new programs/ strategies and regulatory actions required to comply with mandated changes.

Responsible for submission and reconciliation of finance information between the revenue cycle systems and general ledger systems.

Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation and reporting to the Company for the Clinical Laboratory Business Unit.

Analyze EOB’s, claims submissions, rejections, LCD/NCD’s, remittance advice, denials, and claims payments from commercial and government payors to identify trends and issues.

Proactively research commercial and governmental policy changes to provide strategic advice regarding business strategy.

Analyze customer trends as they relate to missing information, failed LCD/NCD’s, Client Cash Payments, Patient Payments, and other trends that effect profitability of accounts.

Meet regularly with Sales and Management to discuss and make recommendations for improvement.

Create and monitor productivity metrics for the billing department personnel and processes.

Remain current with the payor guidelines and changes in reimbursement trends to ensure profitability.

Work with management to maintain existing and new relationships with commercial payors and provide analysis to assist in negotiating contracts and reimbursement rates.

Assist business development in new market development research from the payor mix and reimbursement perspective Design management reports for submission to the executive team and present the same on a periodic basis Requirements: 10 years of progressively responsible experience with ancillary medical billing required.

Experience in independent clinical laboratory billing preferred, other ancillary billing services will be considered with significant CPT claims per day.

(10,000 CPTs per day) Analytical and problem solving skills, the ability to understand complex reimbursement structures and the ability to apply contractual and governmental regulations to billing processes.

The ability to use data analytical tools, develop reports, and manage large amounts of data in a quick and efficient manner.

Experience with Telcor Revenue Cycle Management a plus, experience with setting tables and data hierarchy, rule writing and analysis.

Ability to multitask and keep up with a fast pace and consistently growing environment.

Ability to handle a High Stress work environment.

Team building and people management skills a must, including strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations is essential.

Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.

High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills required, secondary language a plus.
