You will be working for a world leader in one stop shop solutions from freight forwarding to customs brokerage, from warehousing to domestic transportation. Seafrigo deploys unique solutions that allow our customers to optimize the supply chain of their food products. We would like to invite you to apply to be a part of this amazing company. As a driver, you will be responsible for transporting loads to and from Port Elizabeth and Port Newark. You will be driving a recent model company truck (2017-2019, currently in the process of adding new trucks.) Compensation up to $305 per day with a $25 meal allowance when driving OTR. Expected annual compensation as high as $126,000, depending on experience. Signing bonus of $5,000 paid after six months. Referral bonus of $2,500. Our fleet consists of Freightliner trucks. We are in the process of upgrading the fleet to Volvo rigs. Your Essential Duties & Responsibilities Follow all company, DOT and port trucking protocols Complete and file all required paperwork Transporting cargo to and from port Performs other related duties as required and requested 5 to 7 days on the road 34 hours rest upon return Route assignments may vary week to week Electronic Logging Your Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Good written and verbal communication skills CDL Class A required Knowlege of port rules, regulations and procedures Two years experience under a Class A commercial drivers license TWIC and Sealink certifications Class A CDL US Work Authorization Reefer Experience is a plus Your Previous Experience High school diploma or equivalent Seafrigo Offers Medical, dental and vision benefits PTO and sick leave 7 holidays/year 401K with matching Driver incentive plan Seafrigo is an equal opportunity employer.
