This is a Contract position in New Brunswick, NJ posted December 1, 2021.

A flooring company currently searching for self-motivated Sales Representative to establish long term business relationship with new customers. Metro New York based position requires the candidate to manage sales and marketing related activities, projects or special programs as assigned in Northeast Region including NY, NJ, PA and CT.

THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

1) Cold Calling Retail Stores and Contractors in assigned areas.
2) Visit clients and show samples.
3) Visit key accounts on a periodical basis to collect after sales feedback and well manage relationships with customers.
4) Closely communicate and work with customers to understand market demand and feedback to the supply chain team
5) Support accounting on A/R collections.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

1) Good verbal and written communication and people skills
2) Strong problem solving skills
3) Motivated with a strong desire to succeed with strong customer service orientation

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

1) At least 2 years of consumer products sales experience
2) Be able to work in the field up to 75% of time

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1) Sales experience in flooring industry or building materials is highly preferred.
2) Experience using Microsoft Office programs
