This role is responsible for the tactical / day-to-day capacity planning and coverage of open loads of the assigned team(s) to achieve the team’s Net Margin budget(s).

He/She focuses on providing capacity that meets customers’ service expectations while generating expected levels of profitability for the Team(s) and Genpro.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Performs all carrier sales activities for the region(s) for Genpro as directed.

This includes, but is not limited to, the following key components of the job functions and deliverables:Develops and maintains effective Carrier Program that spearheads sales growth, quality carrier on boarding process, improves spot pricing and rating knowledge and competencies across assigned geographic areas and freight types.Performs daily sourcing activities including targeting new carriers, negotiating and developing carrier rates and sourcing and selecting the most efficient carriers.Develops and maintains effective Carrier relationships with Genpro Core Carriers to include proper carrier capability profilingLeverages applications and TMS to maximize productivity in capacity planning, trip processing, operational work flow (ex: Trucker Tools)Responsible for spot pricing and term rating opportunities in collaboration with sales and other operating management of Genpro.Maintains appropriate communications within area of responsibility.Responsible for alternate Saturday rotation (8 am to 1 pm) QUALIFICATIONSA true passion for sales and logistics must be a Self-Starter, Highly Motivated/Self DirectedMinimum 2+ years experience in the transportation/logistics industry.Must have High Energy and EnthusiasmCareer driven this is not just a job but an opportunity to grow!!Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.Excellent customer service, communication and computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and data entry systems).Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to positively influence culture and behavior and work effectively with all levels within the companyAt Genpro Inc.
