Video & Cinematography Post-Production Associate (Weddings & Events)

This is a Contract position in Township Of Howell, NJ posted November 28, 2021.

Basic Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with Post Production manager & other team members to ensure timely delivery of products / services
  • Managing incoming media from all events, organizing file storage & maintaining backup system
  • Reviewing completed projects to ensure company standards are met, prior to release to clients for their review & approval
  • Ongoing communication with clients creating world-class products, expedient delivery timeframes and providing top-notch customer service experience
  • Updating progress / status of edits / communication in our system
  • Generating status reports & communicating to management
  • Maintaining all project related data in our CRM system(s)
  • Post production of and posting of sample & marketing projects to various social media channels
  • Processing footage output of media projects onto various formats
  • Opportunity for shooting & editing at on-location events

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years project or production workflow management
  • 2+ years DSLR video production & editing experience
  • Wedding video experience is a HUGE Plus

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational & communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, handling multiple projects, while meeting required deadlines
  • Detail oriented with a strong eye for creativity, sound, composition, color, light and love all things Video (Wedding interest / experience is a Huge Plus)
  • *Interest in shooting / editing events on-location is a huge plus and we would be willing to train the right candidate

Software Requirements: Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel)

  • Adobe Premiere, Grass Valley Edius and/or Final Cut Pro
  • Slack
  • Wipster
  • Extensive knowledge of PC file formats and ability to handle all file management

Bonus Points:

  • Adobe Creative Suite: Lightroom, After Effects, Photoshop, Encore
  • Familiarity / experience with various social media platforms
  • Shooting / editing events (especially Weddings is a ++)

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Candidates must submit a resume to be considered
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays and weekends and be able to commit to events in advance or with short notice
  • Must be authorization to work in the US, be 18+ years old, have a DL and a personal vehicle

Hours:

  • Full-Time Position / 40 hours per week / Part-Time Position 15-25 hours per week
  • Pay: $15/hr to start. $20/hr in studio and $40/hr shooting/editing at events after 3 month training period. Yearly reviews and increases based on performance.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour
