JOB DESCRIPTION Training Specialist The Training Specialist will be responsible for conducting and leading a wide variety of training programs for new and existing staff, through pre-established training sessions.

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and activities with limited supervision.

Responsible for delivering training objectives, help existing staff enhance and improve existing skills and support the full learning cycle including post-program refresher training sessions.

Creates training materials, including outline, text, handouts, exercises and exams.

Lectures class on company procedures, safety, client expectations, process flows, and system application.

Administers written and practical exams and writes performance reports to evaluate trainees performance.

Will assist in the development of company training programs, system functionality as well as the companys policies and procedures.

Can work independently and as part of a team, the Training Specialist will rely on pre-established guidelines by the organization to perform job functions and works under the immediate supervision of the department manager.

EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE FOR TRAINING SPECIALIST: High school diploma or equivalent.

A minimum of 3-5 years previous work experience in healthcare collections or insurance, collections, compliance and training.

Must have full understanding of the basic healthcare revenue cycle operational processes such as the functions of account, customer service, insurance and self-pay medical billing practices including but not limited to collections, managed care, Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial and well developed inter-personal skills.

REQUIRED JOB KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS TRAINING SPECIALIST: Required job knowledge and skills include but are not limited to the items listed below: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and time management skills Possess elevated level of patience and flexibility Ability to mentor & demonstrate excellent leadership skills Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, Project) Knowledge of HIPPA, FDCPA, PCI Reliable attendance record Excellent problem-solving skills Experienced presenter and trainer in a corporate setting and training classroom environment High degree of accuracy Ability to learn / stay abreast of relevant policies and procedures Ability to multi-task and handle fast-paced work environment Flexible work ethic, ability to perform under pressure in a calm and professional manner Ability to design teaching and learning materials Conduct Go-To Web Based training sessions with offsite staff Team player with strong work ethic CORE RESPONSIBILITIES & JOB FUNCTIONS FOR TRAINING SPECIALIST: Core responsibilities include but are not limited to the items listed below: Conduct effective technical training for all operational staff members Coach and mentor while providing constructive feedback professionally Prepare training program materials including outlines, text, handouts, tests, and practical exercises incorporating appropriate manuals Provide technical advice to operational personnel as needed Participate in meetings, seminars, and training sessions to obtain useful information for integrating into existing programs and developing latest programs Maintains a thorough knowledge and understanding of Acclara Solutions, LLC.

operational policies and procedures, products and services, and training programs Lead and support strategic projects in the department related to training and development Evaluate effectiveness and suggest enhancements to current training programs Maintain tracking and storage of required training session documentation Administering written and practical exams write performance reports to evaluate trainees’ performance in training programs Design hands-on exercises Provide classroom (lecture) instruction Produce performance reports regarding training/departmental efforts Facilitate new hire training but not limited to additional training as needed and/or requested Participating in special projects, as assigned Assist in improving and or enhancing the skills of existing employees Communicate, explain and effectively, implement/execute policies and procedures Maintain operational policy and procedures Report all issues or concerns detrimental to assigned team member and/or assigned project to reporting manager OUR CULTURE We work hard to make Acclara a wonderful place to work.
