What Will You Be Doing?

As an integral member of our team, you will evaluate patients psychotherapeutic needs, perform psychological testing, and provide psychotherapy for our outpatient populations as needed.

• Performing complete psycho-diagnostic evaluations and Identify realistic goals for psychotherapy
• Providing effective individual, family and group psychotherapy
• Attending program development and case conferences for patients treated or evaluated
• Understanding developmental needs of patient when planning and implementing treatments
• Obtaining and interpreting patient s behavior based on an understanding of cognitive, bio-psychosocial and aging processes
• Providing in-services to staff and community agencies as necessary
• Supervising staff, fellows, interns and externs as needed

What Do You Need?

• PhD, PsyD, or EdD, and a least 1 year job related experience.
• NJ State License
• 1+ years of children and/or adolescent experience
• Experience with cognitive behavioral modification
• AHA BLS Provider Certification
• Valid driver s license
• Experience working with children/teens on the Autism spectrum / Autism Testing (bulk of caseload)
• Ability to relate therapeutically with the professional team, children, adolescents and their parents/significant others
• Partial remote includes after school/evening hours (ex: 4-7pm)
• PSY testing experience and Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Experience working with children|teens on the Autism Spectrum required, with strong emphasis given to candidates trained in autism testing, including ADOS administration.
