We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer with expert knowledge of the inner workings of recent versions of Windows OS. The successful candidate should have superior skills on Windows driver, especially USB driver, and Windows application development and debugging. You will lead initiatives related to our Windows based Unified Communications solutions to design and engineering state-of-art, robust products. In this role, you will get a chance to work on cutting-edge unified communication technologies needed for every conference room as well as home office environments. You must be self-motivated, creative, and thrive on solving complicated problems. Responsibilities Lead and contribute to the development activities such as project task estimates, scheduling, implementation, integration, and deliverables planning. Develop a full, hands-on understanding of our existing system and application framework to allow for future development, support of other developers, and troubleshooting of issues. Create software architectural design and documentation. Work collaboratively with other developers and testers across teams to ensure a high standard of quality for the team’s deliverables. Work in an agile environment with focus on the most important deliverable for our customers. Mentor junior engineers and conduct code review. Analyze and problem-solve field issues and provide onsite support as necessary. Qualifications B.SM.S degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent is required. 10+ years of enterprise software design and development experience with proven record of delivering. Expert knowledge of Windows OS fundamentals and operation. Expert working knowledge and experience with Windows driver development and troubleshooting, especially USB drivers related. Extensive hands-on experience with Windbg to debug Windows drivers or services related issues Proficient with Windows application development with C++ and C. Experience with development in a LinuxUnix environment is a plus. Proven track record of serving as a lead developer throughout the full software development lifecycle, end-to-end, from scoping, planning, conception, design, implementation, code review, and testing to documentation, delivery, and maintenance. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills to articulate development strategies, architecture, and design. Solid understanding of Unified Communications technologies, Teams, Skype for Business, Zoom, SIP, and UVC, is desired.
