Junior Account Associate

Position Summary

It’s an exciting time to join the IMC team. Our agency is growing and evolving at a rapid pace. We are developing new capabilities, bringing on new clients and building our team with a lot of opportunity on the horizon.


A Majority of our clients are CPG companies with products in distribution with all major retailers (Drug, Mass, Grocery). Our client’s partner with us to develop consumer & shopper strategy and execute activation plans to help them accomplish key business objectives and win in the retail space


This Jr. Account Executive Position will provide the opportunity to work with a variety of clients from startups to Fortune 100 companies. Your workload will be diverse including project management and account leadership, administrative work as well as the opportunity to provide support on more strategic projects for the opportunity to learn and expand your role.


The ideal candidate for this junior position will be excited by the prospect to be challenged and learn new things, pivot focus as needed, raise a hand when they can help and say “Yes” to opportunities to expand capabilities and sharpen skills.


As the frontline for our clients, your project management and relationship building skills will be vital to maintaining healthy and productive partnerships, identifying and building opportunity and delivering exceptional service and solutions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assumes day-to-day client contact and develops deep relationships that cultivate an ease in collaboration and growth opportunities
  • Effectively manages multiple clients, projects and administrative duties with ease and thoughtfully prioritizes
  • Develops and demonstrates over time, an in-depth knowledge of the clients’ business and unique challenges
  • Crafts effective and professional client and internal communications
  • Writes clear and concise estimates, project plans and creative briefs
  • Collaborates effectively with internal teams and creative partners
  • Provides administrative support as needed to keep the agency running smoothly
  • Has a can-do attitude and is eager to learn new things
  • Enthusiastically takes on new roles, projects and accounts as needed as the agency continues to grow, expand capabilities and is always looking for new ways to provide our clients with exceptional value.

Work Experience

  • 1+ years experience in marketing (agency-side a plus)
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or other related field preferred/or equivalent work experience
  • Client management or customer service experience
  • Working on print or digital marketing executions
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Travel and Location

  • Office location is Holmdel, NJ – Temporarily fully remote with the opportunity for work-from-home flexibility until it is safe to return to the office
  • Travel may be required for key events and client visits, but only when safe to do so. Less than 10% travel
