Weichert Workforce Mobility is hiring a Senior Human Resources Business Partner at the corporate location in Morris Plains, NJ.  This will be a hybrid position. 

The Senior HR Business Partner is responsible for assessing and anticipating human capital needs and developing appropriate strategies and solutions to meet the business requirements within the Corporate and Government business segment. The position serves as a strategic partner to leaders and management and proposes and formulates effective business solutions to maximize organization effectiveness and drives change management process to enhance company culture and colleague retention. The position partners with Corporate Recruiting on recruiting strategies and ensures the entire colleague lifecycle from onboarding to separation is optimized.  This position will also focus on providing support and HR expertise on business strategies, in coordination with Corporate HR and third-party partners, to both domestic and global colleagues. The Senior HR Business Partner also organizes Diversity and Inclusion and sustainability initiatives while also collaborating closely with the EVP, Talent Development and Colleague Engagement to support broader Leadership, Training and Development, Culture and Engagement initiatives and to foster a positive workplace culture.

 

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Supports development strategies within the business segment, focusing on leadership needs and key themes identified as part of the business strategy. Supports President and Management Committee with consultative advice and current best practices in the areas of Human Resource Management.
  • Drives Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategies within the segment aimed at maintaining and improving organizational performance and alignment with client initiatives. Identifies training and other organizational development needs to the business teams and individuals. Promotes, facilitates and champions a positive workplace culture that is inclusive and diverse.
  • Partners with business leaders to develop and deliver a talent management and recruitment strategy. Drives the talent management agenda, including key talent and capability identification, planning, development, recruitment, engagement, and retention.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs. Supports hiring managers with candidate interviewing and consultative feedback to help the business identify and recruit top candidates.
  • Represents company in targeted talent acquisition efforts including job fairs, intern recruitment and other external talent venues. Partners with strategic external recruiters as needed to translate position specifics and targeted campaigns as needed.
  • Performs certain aspects of the global recruitment process tied to candidate identification and initial engagement while partnering with global office management and outsource partners. 
  • Maintains an effective new hire orientation process to ensure a successful onboarding of candidates and positive colleague experience.
  • Participates in talent management related meetings with senior management. Prepares and present relevant employment data and support for high potential and appropriate colleague ranking strategies to increase retention and performance.
  • Investigates and evaluates compensation programs and makes recommendations to leadership on strategies that will help retain and recruit talent.
  • Conducts post-employment evaluations to develop strategies to improve the colleague experience while identifying gaps in leadership and company culture.
  • Designs and implements retention strategies focusing on key leaders and individuals with core competencies or skills critical to the business segment. 
  • Serves as the liaison with third party global administrators on all employment related processes and global strategy and execution.
  • Partners with Corporate HR on employee relations issues. Handles and resolves simple and minor employee relations issues.
  • Supports RFP inquiries and mergers and acquisitions within the business segment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • Eight (8) to ten (10) years of experience in HR operations and talent management and acquisition
  • Relocation management industry sector experience preferred
  • Global and/or matrix organizations experience a plus
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent consulting and client service skills, able to effectively contract, negotiate, and manage key relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong, trusting business relationships at all levels and be regarded as a trusted partner
  • Knowledge of organizational development and effectiveness techniques and performance management
  • Proven success at understanding the business needs of internal stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to combine a mix of experience, good judgment and logic to make strong and quality decisions
  • Excellent organizational agility and flexibility with the demonstrated ability to navigate organizations
  • Demonstrated project management, change management, and experience driving programs independently
  • A natural comfort in working in a matrixed human resources and business operating model
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for multiple audiences including staff, management, and senior executives
  • Detail oriented with a disciplined approach to process
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products
