CT Technologist

Community Medical Center, an affiliate of RWJBarnabas Health, is a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital offering area residents world-class medical treatment with the comforts of hometown care. Opened in 1961, CMC has evolved into the state s newest teaching hospital with four residency programs and Ocean County s largest and most active health care facility caring for over 21,500 inpatients, 178,000 outpatients and 73,700 emergency department patients each year.

In this key role, the CT Technologist provides patient services using diagnostic CT scan equipment. The technologist is competent in the production of quality images to be used by physicians for patient diagnosis and treatment. In addition, the individuals must be prepared to render quality care by exercising discretion and good judgment.

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
• ARRT certification
• NJ State Licensure
• CPR Certified
• Knowledge of all CT exams including, CT Brain Perfusions and CCTA imaging
• Knowledge of digital PACs / RIS environment
• Ability to work independently and handle a busy environment
