The Position: We’re looking for a Billing Specialist located in Pennsauken, NJ.

Candidate must pass a Drug/Alcohol Test and Criminal Background Check.
Basic Function: Responsible for performing all billing functions while working in a team setting.
Responsibilities:
Performs all data entries and computer functions related to billing and payment procedures.
Generates and mails customer invoices on a daily basis.
Processes and enters accounts payment information and adjustments into computer on a daily basis.
Ensures all bills pursuant to billing cycle are mailed in accordance with company procedures.
Generates and reviews accounts payable/ receivable reports for accuracy as needed.
Monitors billing for accuracy and communicates with personnel to resolve discrepancies or verify unusual items.
Executes appropriate collection activity in accordance with company guidelines.
Negotiate with delinquent customer accounts to minimize collection activity potential.
Receives and resolves customer accounts problems and discrepancies.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualification/Skills
Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or a minimum of 2 or more years of related
experience
Proficient in MS Outlook, MS Office, and MS Excel
Experience in MS Dynamics NAV highly desirable
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Effective oral and written communication skills
Works well under pressure and under tight guidelines
Works well in a team environment
Able to work with a diverse group of people
Ability to communicate with co-workers, management, clients, vendors and others in a courteous and professional manner
