Overview

Konica Minolta Sensing Americas, Inc., a leading company in the Imaging Industry specializing in Color Instrumentation and Light Measurement has an excellent opportunity for the position of Service Technician.

Responsibilities

• Repair and service spectrophotometers, color meters, colorimeters, spectrodensitometers, luminance meters, illuminance meters, luminance color meters, and illuminance color meters.
• Calibrate color and light sensor instruments.
• Preparation and management of calibration certificates.
• Process service orders in Infor CRM (formerly Saleslogix CRM).
• Prepare calibration documents and conduct training courses for all KMSA products.
• Experience in answering technical support calls.
• Maintain workflow for multiple technicians.
• Ability to do field calibrations.
• Ability to travel.
• In-depth knowledge of the Color & Appearance and Radiometric instruments
• Very strong communication skills and ability to assist customers with instrument and software issues.
• Ability to work additional hours to meet deadlines.
• Understanding of ISO-17025 accreditation process
• Maintain ISO-17025 documentation.
• Good soldering skills
• Proficient in MS Windows and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of Infor CRM preferred (formerly Saleslogix CRM)
• Ability to answer technical phone calls (experience preferred)
• Team oriented.
• Overtime required.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and communications skills
• AA degree in electronics or at least 5 years of experience repairing electronic equipment.
