 Marketing Specialist, the role:

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for day-to-day oversight of the Patient pages of the corporate website, including optimization efforts and updating/approving content.

This professional will support Corporate, Clinical Franchise and/or Partnership needs for consumer tactics including videos, brochures, digital and print ads, and ad hoc requests.

Job responsibilities:

  • Brainstorm, develop ideas, and implement marketing tactics that drive improved awareness of Quest Diagnostics value to target consumers.
  • Assist in marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, events, planning, etc.).
  • Conduct research to monitor market dynamics and find answers about customer requirements, habits and trends.
  • Become a ‘power user’ of a consumer marketing enablement tools (eg. Eloqua, Resonate, AEM).
  • Assist in analyzing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic, etc.) to measure existing and help shape future marketing strategies.
  • Day to day management of the consumer marketing budget, marketing calendar, and patient brochure inventory.
  • Undertake individual marketing plan tasks, as assigned.

To qualify, the ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • BA/BS in marketing, communications or a related field
  • Three or more years of progressively expanding roles in marketing, communications or other related business discipline, health care industry preferred
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Team oriented – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross functional teams and in a matrix environment
  • Strong project management, skills; ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Proficiency with core business technology tools (MS Office, etc.)
  • Initiative – ability to independently problem solve and find resolutions
  • Demonstrated curiosity and self-learning
