Boasting of more than 20 museums and 7 historic houses, the rich historic tapestry is on full display.

Knox County’s population is less than 200,000, with residents enjoying a cost of living that’s lower than the national average, reflected in reasonable housing ($124,500 medium home value), utility and transportation costs.

Home of the University of Tennessee, (go Volunteers!) Knoxville’s population is fairly young, which is due in part to a large number of college students, as well as a high number of young families.

With more than 55 parks, seven farmers’ markets and a full roster of music and sporting events, Knoxville offers all of the amenities of a big city, with all the affordability of a small town.

Another perk is that the state of Tennessee has no income tax.Fun Facts:Birthplace of the soft drink ” Mountain Dew”Red Panda Capital of the WorldHome to cable TV’s HGTVFamous country singer Kenny Chesney grew up in KnoxvilleMTV stuntman and actor Johnny Knoxville grew up in KnoxvilleNamed in the Top 100 Places to Live in 2020!Background ProfileRequired:Associates degree + three (3) years of related experience ORFive years of related experience in lieu of degreeSchedule flexibility to come in on evenings/weekends as neededExperience working in or building servers/desktops.Basic networking experience.Experience using Server 2012 and newer, Windows 10Must be comfortable going up lifts that are 20 feet above the ground to access equipmentAble to lift at least 20 lbsExperience working with and leading cross-functional teams to accomplish the business goalsPreferred:Experience racking servers and knowledge of IDF/MDF setupExperience with Office 365/TeamsExperience with virtualized servers using Microsoft Hyper-VExperience with Veeam BackupExperience with SNMP monitoring and packet capture tools such as SolarWinds and WiresharkExperience using Manage Engines Service DeskJD Edwards Enterprise One (E1) 9.0 ERP knowledge/experienceShop floor support (experience in a manufacturing or other industrial setting)Scan gun setupLabel printer setupWifi strength scanningDesktop troubleshootingProject management when needing external contractors for assistance
