Research Scientist – Lc-Ms Bioanalytical

We have a unique opportunity for a Research Scientist focusing on LC-MS bioanalytical supporting our Metabolism team based at our site in Somerset, NJ. Some of the duties of this senior level role include:

• Performs day-to-day technical management of studies with infrequent guidance from management.
• Occasionally provides mentorship and guidance for less experienced study directors to foster development of general expertise in the field.
• Responsible for the design, conduct and reporting of studies to meet scientific regulatory and client requirements.
• Reviews technical validity of projects and results, occasionally with consultation of other scientists.
• Evaluates data for report preparation and experiment modification, as applicable and writes comprehensive reports.
• Project management responsibilities, including client interaction.

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:

• PhD, in a relevant Science discipline
• Experience may be substituted for education.

EXPERIENCE:

• Knowledge of GLP and regulatory guidelines.
• Proficiency in project management skills.
• Ability to conduct literature review.
• Skilled in data interpretation and report writing for studies.
• Familiar with the use of standard laboratory equipment and analytical instrumentation, including GC/MS, HPLC and LC/MS.
• Skilled in customer service communication.
