– Saturday 8:00 a.m.

– $16.50/hour, plus incentives; depending upon experience Comprehensive health benefits package Nearly 4 weeks of paid time accrued during the first year Paid time off to volunteer Tuition reimbursement 401(K) plan with company match Free AAA Premier Battery Membership The primary duties of the License Tag and Title Clerk are to: Motor Vehicle / Driver Services Answer and provide guidance to public inquiries pertaining to state specific regulations on driver license and/or vehicle titling and registration applications.

Complete required paperwork and applications accurately and collect and process appropriate State and AAA fees.

Make and maintain complete and accurate copies of transactions.

Protect customers’ confidentiality and privacy in accordance with AAA Club Alliance and state specific regulatory requirements.

Remain current on state laws and legislation relating to Motor Vehicle Code governing license, title, and registration.

Comply with all state regulations and AAA Tag & Title policies and procedures.

Enter information and process applications accurately by accessing state and vendor computer systems.

Customer Service and Sales Sell and represent AAA products and services in a manner that will build repeat business and generate sales of Membership, Financial Services products and generate Insurance referrals.

Use established sales and service techniques to improve member/client retention, to meet or exceed quality standard scores, and to meet established productivity goals.

Counsel potential members on the benefits and services of various membership plans with a concentration on selling Plus, Premier and auto renew.

Conduct Membership Review for existing members, update and upgrade plans as appropriate and assist the member in understanding the value of their membership.

General Workplace Duties Safeguard state inventory [license plates, registration/weight stickers, etc.] and check inventory logs for accurate recordings.

Balance cash and receipts with all daily business transactions as assigned.

May assist with state inventory ordering, securing and monthly reconciliation to conform to AAA and state audit requirements.

In the absence of Coordinator, may review, assemble, and submit daily work to state specific department and perform other Coordinator duties as assigned.

Answer and process incoming overflow telephone calls from the Roadside Assistance Call Center (RACC).

Deliver extraordinary customer roadside assistance service to AAA members by accurately answering questions and interpreting club policy.

Provide members with all necessary instructions to ensure a complete understanding of the roadside assistance services that will be rendered.

Give an accurate estimated time of arrival.

Listen for, and probe for more information when necessary, and make sound decisions concerning the prioritization of service (e.g., safety concern, extreme hardship to member).

Assist members, utilizing AAA maps and/or a PC based map program, to determine their breakdown location or tow destination.

Utilize computer system to enter accurate information and comments regarding a member’s roadside assistance needs, including any special service considerations.

Handle credit card and member billing transaction as appropriate.

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent.

One (1) year of previous sales, customer service, retail and/or general office experience.

Must maintain a satisfactory criminal history, as well as meet all state-specific legal requirements for this job.

Notary Public designation preferred or the ability to obtain a Notary Public designation.

Ability to learn, retain and communicate State Specific Vehicle Code Regulations pertaining to Vehicle and/or Driver License applications required to complete client transactions.

Ability to successfully complete all required departmental training workshops.

Excellent customer service and communication skills (oral, written and listening) to enable accurate completion of assignments, proper handling of complex transactions, and constructive interaction with others.

Ability to work in a multifaceted team environment while being detail oriented and organized.

Proficient with Windows based applications and competent keyboarding skills and the ability to navigate the Internet.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred.

For Pennsylvania employees: Ability to successfully complete the On-Line Messenger (OLM) Certification testing within ninety (90) days of receiving system authorization.

Ability to successfully complete the Basic Agent Services Training course within two weeks of hire.

Ability to successfully complete the Advance Agent Services Training course every two (2) years.
