Payroll Supervisor

OPEX Corporation is looking for a full time Payroll Supervisor to work at our World Headquarters in Moorestown, NJ. The Payroll Supervisor will run three bi-weekly pay cycles for US home office employees, US field service employees, and Canadian employees.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Supervise the payroll process and team
  • Process three bi-weekly payroll cycles for US and Canadian employees
  • Review and analyze payroll data coming from Oracle HCM for accuracy and anomalies before uploading to ADP for processing
  • Distribute paychecks, set up direct deposit as needed, assist employees with ADP Self-Service portal
  • Calculate commissions on a bi-weekly basis and retroactive payments when needed
  • Review changes to employee data brought through Data Bridge to ADP from HCM to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Address payroll related queries and requests from employees
  • Reconcile benefits reports, including 401k and Flex Spending Accounts
  • Prepare journal entry to record payroll funding
  • Prepare benefits invoices for employees on leave
  • Maintain garnishments
  • Maintain personal mileage spreadsheets on a quarterly basis
  • Reconcile quarterly payroll reports
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years’ experience working in payroll as a contributor or supervisor preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with ADP WorkforceNow, Microsoft Office products, and Oracle System or similar ERP experience
  • Strong communication skills through e-mail, telephone, and instant messaging
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to comprehend fast-paced business issues and practices
  • Must be self-driven creative, and motivated to build new skills and grow with the position
  • Oracle HCM experience preferred but not required

Physical/Work Environments

  • Worker will be working in an office setting
  • Sitting for an extended period of time

Job Requirements:
5+ years Payroll experience, Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred, ERP experience, Microsoft Office and ADP WorkforceNow experience.
