Team Leader, Inside Sales- Medical Solutions

GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Team Leader (TL) Medical-Alternative-Acute Care Inside Sales, role aligns with the Associate Director, and future planned Inside Sales Manager (ISM) to lead the inside sales medical team supporting Alternative Care, encompassing dental, veterinary, and other verticals, and Acute Care, encompassing surgery centers and hospitals. This role will support our center of excellence to deliver best in class medical solutions through a strategic and tactical operating model. The TL will work with the inside sales representatives (ISR), to expand Ansell value proposition with existing and prospective customers, and leverage omni-channel initiative to increase Ansell product brand equity, top lines revenues, and share of wallet in North America, USA, and Canada markets.

The TL will participate in strategic customer calls, presentations, and events with direct reports and field sales to further expand customer loyalty and incremental sales. Presenting and supporting a team and collaborative work environment, the TL will endorse and support company performance objectives and key programs, while positioning the sales team to be aligned and to execute deliverables and achieve target benchmarks. The TL, will have ownership to schedule employee skill development meetings, inspect and analyze sales metrics and trends, and work with internal cross-functional teams to secure the necessary resources to elevate the Inside Sales Representatives (ISR) ability to present ancillary value offerings to drive sales.

RESPONSIBILITIES & SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Cultivate relations and scale SOW and revenues of designated healthcare customers
2. Leverage channel and field resources to position each ISR to internalize and transfer Ansell’s value proposition to maximize productivity sales results
3. Identify and execute opportunities with direct reports to develop and maintain superior business relationships with key distributor and end user stakeholders including all sales, procurement and digital/e-commerce personnel and stakeholders
4. Lead team meetings in support of KPI’s and strategic initiatives to scale operations and top line revenues and margins
5. Actively participate in virtual customer presentations to uncover new opportunities to strengthen customer relations, and reinforce Ansell’s competitive differentiation in the marketplace to drive new opportunities
6. Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales operators, and field sales teams to develop effective customer targeting and outreach programs to drive sales opportunities
7. Develop and execute lead management strategy with inside and field sellers that support engagement, educational, and incremental sales opportunities in real-time to from qualified to closed-won converted
8. Assist in analyzing and coaching direct reports on achieving performance metrics, and serve as an advocate in providing best practice suggestion to repeat and elevate selling standards, and uncover coaching-course correction opportunities in support of employee development
9. Participate in sharing employee performance recognition and accomplishments with senior leaders
10. Partake in recruiting and interviewing of inside sales personnel

Education
* BS degree in Sales, Business Administration, or relevant field
* Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree require

Job Experience
* 3+ years medical sales experience selling medical device product solutions
* 2+ years hands on experience with Salesforce.com or related CRM preferred
* Clinical training and experience along with strong innate selling skills
* Demonstrated understanding of North American medical market; Distribution, GPO and IDN landscape

Knowledge and Skills
* Ability to pivot conversational value with financial, operational, and clinical solution selling audience
* Comfortable engaging prospective clients including supply-chain, material and OR managers, nurses, dental and veterinary technician, and hygienist during business presentations
* Experience with operating systems, and performance-based CRM platform
* Demonstrated sales achievements related to quota attainment and customer retention
* Strong analytical, interpersonal, presentational, and organizational skills
* Thrives in a team and collaborative environment
* Strong organizational, planning, computer, and administrative skills.
* Demonstrated ability to work within matrix organization.

Additional Requirements (travel, etc.)
* Available to travel to Trade Shows, training, and occasional customer visits – up to 10%
