Our location in Columbus, OH, OR Chicago, IL currently has an opportunity for a Global Digital Content Manager.

This position will coordinate with AN Public Affairs, Internal Creative Agency, IT, Global Medical Affairs and Abbott Nutrition Health Institute (ANHI) teams to maintain and grow a “best in class” content marketing and global health care site.

This individual must have a solid understanding of managing a consumer Web experience with a focus on healthcare professionals and global nutrition advocacy.

This individual must also have experience optimizing the consumer experience for healthcare professionals and an understanding of information architecture for a global sit.

Additionally, this position will have responsibility to ensure that internal and external strategic supply partners and stakeholders have a clear understanding of the Global ANHI strategic objectives and goals as outlined by the ANHI Leadership.

In collaboration with Research & Development, this individual will work to deliver consistent and engaging content that supports the ANHI global growth objectives.

The preferred candidate will demonstrate capacity to drive and manage the business requirements for the ANHI website for the purpose of creating a high-quality product that engages and retains a broad base of health care professionals in a high return experience.

This person will also be responsible to create connections and linkage to other Abbott-owned assets.

Overall website engagement with end customers will be improved and integrating with the full online experience.

This position will also be responsible for working with internal and agency resources to identify, track, and analyse operational and performance online metrics as they relate to their interactive marketing programs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO Deliver outstanding and state of the art execution of online consumer relationship, engagement, and retention and development of alternative marketing channels and new media.

Manage a global scope that will require framework creation and guidelines for an international audience.

Coordinate and deliver consistent communication with global stakeholders to maintain branding consistency, quality and experience.

Audit current content and recommend best in class content for global internal and external customers.

Set measurements that articulate business impact and share post-measurement analytics with business units.

Manage and support digital and traditional marketing initiatives within brand marketing teams, including websites, eCRM, e-mail, social media, paid advertising, direct mail, print advertising, membership and sales.

Act as the principal interface between ANHI, Public Affairs, Medical Affairs, IT and suppliers on all programs.

Have the capacity to lead the ANHI team and stakeholders to implement search engine optimization, content management tools, usability testing and online panels.

Be able to use and interpret web analytics.

Ensure that all promotional programs and materials meet ANHI, PA, medical, regulatory, general business, legal, timing, and budgetary objectives.

Build and maintain effective alliances with key internal (Medical / Regulatory / QA / Purchasing / Manufacturing / Market Research) and external (agencies / program and event suppliers) partners to achieve optimal results.

Approve all final program details to ensure delivery against strategic initiatives, consistency of message and benefits, and viability of cost and timing elements.

Develop and manage a well-defined system for project planning, tracking, and budgetary information in an accurate, timely, effective, and easily accessible manner by members of the core team as well as key internal business partners.

Manage communications with external supply partners to assure program delivery against strategic objectives, provide for accurate tracking against project priorities and status, provide for early identification of issues that may impact program delivery, and maintain standards for budgetary commitments and compliance with RPD process and procedures.

Track the performance of the Web site and make actionable recommendations for improvements EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING Required Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in one of the following: Marketing, Management, Business, English, Communications, Public Affairs Digital experience in Web and mobile required Minimum of four years of experience in digital Preferred Experience in HCP communication / education WHAT WE OFFER At Abbott, you can have a good job that can grow into a great career.
