The CONTRACT Registered Nurse Behavioral Health will work for a behavioral health facility that is part of a highly reputable health system in New Jersey that is known for their acute care hospitals, behavioral health facilities, outpatient centers, specialized programs, clinical trials and research, academic affiliations, and more.
About the Behavioral Health Facility:
- 150+ bed inpatient facility
- Several Recovery Centers, outpatient treatment and therapeutic programs, private special education school for adolescent/teens
- Patient Population: adolescent, teen, adult and geriatric population
- Specialties (not all included): emotional, psychiatric and behavioral issues
- Services: Adult Inpatient Services, Dual Diagnosis, Psychiatric Acute Care, Older Adult Services
Typically, admitted patient’s stays are generally brief with the objective being crisis intervention, medical stabilization and transition to the next appropriate level of care.
The CONTRACT Registered Nurse Behavioral Health will work in an inpatient setting to provide exceptional direct patient care. The Contract RN Behavioral Health will collaborate with the treatment team of nurses, social workers, physicians and specialists, provide educational material to the patient and their families, and review patient charges for new orders at the beginning of each shift.
Requirements
- New Jersey RN license
- Previous clinical experience working in an inpatient psychiatric or behavioral health unit
- Ideal: ANCC Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Certification
