Job Description The Clinical Laboratory Technologist in the Hematology Unit of the Clinical Laboratory Department conducts moderate to high complexity testing on clinical specimens in various areas of the hospital core laboratory including hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, immunology, and chemistry. Performs quality control on all tests. Follows up on out of range results and relays critical values to appropriate teams. Utilizes the Laboratory Information System (LIS) to document patient results.
