Insurance Follow Up CoordinatorJob descriptionAllied Health Management Services Organization (AHMSO), an affiliate of Allied Digestive Health, is looking for a full-time Insurance Follow Up Coordinator to join our growing team.

Under the direction of the Revenue Cycle Manager, this person will perform all steps necessary to achieve final adjudication for any/all claims submitted to third-party payors for reimbursement on behalf of AHMSO’s patients.Duties:Engage in the follow-up of patients’ claims that have been submitted to third party payors but have not been adjudicated.Adhere to quality and quantity standards of the practice as well as industry mandated guidelines and regulations.Follow up on an average of no fewer than twenty-five (25) accounts per day, which can be accomplished by the following methods, including, but not limited to: telephone inquiries, correspondence, accessing carriers’ web-sites, etc.

However, for the purpose of measuring performance, follow-up will be calculated based on the number of distinct account notes entered by the Coordinator onto the patient’s account in AHMSO’s billing system.Perform other duties as required.Required Experience:High School graduate or GEDBasic understanding of CPT and ICD codingUnderstanding of rudimentary medical terminologySkills:Detail orientedAbility to read and understand all ERAs, EOBs, and any other third-party payor correspondence, and take appropriate action needed to facilitate final adjudication of patients’ claimsProblem solving and organizational skillsReliability, accuracy, and efficiencyWe offer a competitive salary, benefits including medical and 401K as well as a comfortable working environment.Please submit a resume as well as salary requirements.Allied Digestive Health is a successful, integrated network of multiple gastroenterology Care Centers.
