Senior Technical Solution Architect

Tech Account Managers will be aligned with a specific set of clients and will be responsible for meeting their technical requirements.  The Tech Account Manager will work closely with the DCOD Account Lead and the client’s SI team to provide guidance, technical designs and to coordinate activities of other DCOD groups to ensure client timelines are met.   They will also work with the triage team to resolve issues encountered by their aligned clients.  In addition to their client related responsibilities, the Tech Account Manager will also be responsible for understanding Azure offerings, functionality and general architecture of our DCOD applications.


  • Maintain/validate Runbook information for the client to which the TAM is assigned
  • Manage creation and validation of base environments before they are turned over to the client.
  • Maintain an RDG file with connection details for all client environments broken down by domain(Dev,PREPROD,PROD)
  • Create and maintain client environment topology document
  • Work with the Account Manager and SI Team Lead to ensure conformance to DCOD processes and procedures
  • Create and document new standards as required to ensure repeatability and economy of scale
  • Manage infrastructure costs to align with budget and report on same
  • Research and recommend new technology where appropriate and required
  • Recommend and implement performance improvements to meet SLA’s and increase overall efficiency
  • Provide input to the DevOps/Saas Engineering team regarding priorities and general designs
  • Support the Saas Ops team during initiatives related to clients to whom the TAM is assigned
  • Manage environment dependencies with other OnDemand teams to ensure that these dependencies are met in timely and performant fashion
  • Interface directly with SI team and client resources to provide guidance and support
  • Ensure contingency plans are in place during releases
  • Ensure that environments support High Availability and the DR plans are in place
  • Ensure HA and DR tests are conducted (and documented) at least annually
  • Work with Account Manager to measure and ensure compliance with monthly SLAs


  • Experience in a customer-facing, service-oriented role.
  • Ability to clearly articulate and present technical solutions clients
  • Exceptional customer service and organizational skills are must
  • Must be able to work well independently and in a team environment
  • Efficient multi-tasking and project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, ability to communicate with sales, executives and clients.
  • Deep Functional and Technical knowledge of the Duck Creek Suite and Platform
  • 5+ years’ experience as a developer or architect on Duck Creek Suite and Platform
  • 5+ years’ experience with Cloud Architecture, preferably Microsoft Azure
  • Deep experience with at least three of the following technologies: Microsoft .NET, SQL Server, IIS, Azure DevOps, Windows Server, Powershell and OctopusDeploy.
  • Background technical supporting large scale production projects.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
