Enterprise Software Architect

We are now looking for an Enterprise Software Architect to support design and development-based efforts for the Ericsson Adaptive Inventory Product. The Architect is responsible for the assessment of business requirements; collection, identification and approval of technical specifications; and the subsequent development of technology solutions. The role will work with the Enterprise Architecture team to ensure that new technology solutions are designed in accordance to architectural standards; for optimal access and usefulness; to use existing technologies; and to understand enterprise-wide impacts to people, process and technology. They will assist in near/mid-term roadmap creation, to address gaps and move the domain towards its future state architecture, in support of future business growth and innovation You will Guide strategic technical leadership across the Product, establishing a vision for future state technologies, product architecture and roadmap dependencies. This includes Cloud Ready, Microservices based Product strategies Collaborate with Solution Areas and Enterprise Architecture Teams to drive mid/long term strategy and roadmaps into the product, acting as a domain specialist in producing detailed technical requirements Apply architectural and engineering concepts to design solutions that meet/exceed operational requirements, including scalability, maintainability, security, reliability, extensibility, flexibility, availability and manageability Partner with Security teams to plan, implement and verify Security and Vulnerability processes and policies within the Product, including the mentoring of dev teams Coordinate all aspects of research and development efforts, including studies, POCs and development spikes to prove new technologies, provide estimations for hardening and communicate risks/issues to key partners To be successful in the role you must have Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering field 7 years’ experience in Java development, application and solution architecture and product development life cycle Proficient experience in Operational Support Systems (OSS), inventory, cloud and microservices based architectures, security/vulnerability training Extensive experience in software design, development and architecture with cloud based, microservice architectures and REST services Software Security background, including implementation, monitoring and reporting in containerized environments A robust understanding of Telecommunications networks and modeling, relational data structures and storage and principles around Inventory Management Systems Ability to foster open communication across multi-functional teams Mentor and grow junior staff. Need to be a welcoming member of the team
