Production Designer

Caesars Digital

This is a Full-time position in Jersey City, NJ posted November 22, 2021.

Caesars Sportsbook, the leading sports betting company in the country, is seeking a Production Designer who is passionate about sports, is full of ideas, and can thrive in a start-up environment.

The primary focus will be the ideation and design of compelling campaigns across all digital properties of Caesars Sportsbook.

As a hands-on designer, you will bring a mix of marketing expertise and business understanding to the position, going one better for our brand and that of our valued customers.

The ideal candidate will have a natural eye for design and a drive to inspire dynamic ideas that connect with all types of audiences.

What You Will Do:

  • Design all digital production (web, digital marketing, social, media) and print for retail
  • Collaborate with the marketing, media, and digital sportsbook teams in developing plans and briefs, analyzing results, and identifying opportunities
  • Prioritize work and resources across engagements based on short
    – and long-term needs, establishing production schedules by collaborating with designers, copywriters, and production departments
  • Conduct brainstorming sessions with creative team, maintaining strategic and creative thinking to develop innovative and actionable creative initiatives in a fiscally responsible manner
  • Produce fresh, innovative work that translates complex ideas into compelling print materials and digital experiences for visually sophisticated audiences
  • Present, or oversee presentation of final concepts, and obtain approvals for deliverables

Will You Will Need:

  • 3-5 years of related experience
  • An extensive portfolio of ad banner sets with good sense of design
  • Top notch experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to build out consistent looking sets in multiple sizes
  • Attention to detail, pixel perfect detail and ability to follow direction
  • A strong understanding of print vs digital designing and pre
    – press production
  • Understanding of packaging final print and digital files
  • Strong understanding of high resolution vs.

    low resolution

  • Strong understanding of CMYK vs RGB
  • Strong understanding of working within smart objects, art boards, exporting, size requirements, file types/jpg/png/svg etc.

    etc., maintaining consistent naming conventions, strong detail to maintaining ‘clean files’ within all software, i.e., remembering to delete unnecessary layers and folders

  • A working knowledge in Figma and Sketch as well, but not necessary
  • Being able to work and produce within tight deadlines with little to no errors
  • Great communication skills
  • Understanding or RG and legal compliance within the casino/sports gambling industry is a plus but not necessary
