As an Junior Technical Writer/Instructional Designer, you would perform the following tasks: Organize and write a variety of technical and training documentation and/or research materials and complete a variety of documentation tasks.

Design, develop, and/or re-design, content for e-learning, web-based and/or instructor-led classes.

Work with subject matter experts to research, write and edit training and technical documentation (including user instructions, product guides, etc).

Master content from existing sources well enough to communicate it.

Use design elements (text, graphics) to communicate logical sequence and create attractive documents.

Create instructional supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc.).

Manage work to allocated effort and schedule.

Demonstrate superior oral and written communication skills.

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

1-3 years of experience in Content Writing, Website Writing, Instructional Design, Development, and/or Technical Writing.

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required.

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Captivate, Lectora, Camtasia, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Visio, RoboHelp, Articulate 360, Dreamweaver, SnagIt, and/or other eLearning programs is a plus.

Ability to write effectively and communicate complex ideas in an easy-to-understand manner.

We are particularly desiring individuals who can learn new software programs quickly and write well.

We are also open to accepting recent graduates who are open to getting experiences with Technical Writing and Instruction Design.
