Production Services Support – Markets Application

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1st and 2nd line support for Margin applications

  • Manage releases of new and existing applications to the production environment

  • Perform analysis and testing of new and existing applications as required

  • Aid continuous improvement with the state and support ability of production systems

  • Build and maintain relationships with business users and other stakeholders

  • Work closely with Development and infrastructure teams to ensure that issues and defects  are reported and actioned and meet business requirements and timelines

  • Work closely with other MAPS team members across the AMRS region and globally to ensure consistent service delivery and standardization

Required Skills:

  • Experience in Windows Server & SQL Server technologies

  • Comfortable with Networking (i.e. firewall, proxy, IPSEC), Active Directory, & Digital Certificate management (i.e. SSL)

  • Ability to exhibit a strong sense of urgency for high severity incidents and to assess the customer impact and provide tactical solutions

  • Experience in user interaction in banking support environment

  • Has good experience working with and taking the lead with other teams in investment banking environment

Technology Infrastructure Organization:

  • Strives to bring new thoughts and ideas to teams in order to drive innovation and unique solutions

Provides technical and analytical support in a global markets operations function for one or more operations product areas. May manage projects and/or the introduction of new initiatives, systems, products/services and processes, coordinating necessary expertise across multiple operations functions and/or products. As a technical expert, may also function as an informal team lead, providing work direction and technical guidance to less experienced employees in resolving complex transactions and operational problems. Requires extensive experience in an operations support function with thorough working knowledge of fundamental business structure and operational aspects for specific transactions and products. As a technical expert, will consult on a wide variety of topics across functional and business support lines. To be used for employees in Global Markets only.
