NOT REMOTE DESCRIPTION MC Machinery Systems a Subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation is looking for an IT Support Technician that will work with internal customers in setting up and troubleshooting PC systems and equipment.

This person will be part of the IT department working to build new PC’s for new hires, troubleshooting and repairing current equipment and maintaining inventory of all hardware.

They will also be designated as a back-up to the Server technicians when situations or problems arise and additional help is needed.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Imaging and deployment/redeployment of computers using Symantic ghost.

General troubleshooting of hardware and software issues.

Maintain active directory of users and computers.

Remote assistance for end users.

Setup printers (client side).

Assign drive mappings and folder permissions.

Basic LAN/WAB troubleshooting.

Preventative maintenance for PC’s.

Monitor Server backups and active SANs.

Create, maintain and improve technical documentation and network schematics.

Remotely assist customers with basic networking assistance and troubleshooting.

Remotely assist with connection of IoT devices at customer sites.

Other duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Strong working knowledge of Windows 7 & 10, Office Suite 2010/2016, Server 2010/2012.

Maintain relationship with vendors, place orders for IT equipment.

Effective communication skills, written and verbal.

Active directory user and security group management experience.

Understanding of desktop and laptop hardware components.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 2-3 Years’ experience in IT helpdesk environment or related field.

WORKING CONDITIONS Job operates mainly indoors and is exposed to generally consistent conditions, such as regulated air conditioning and heating.

This job also works near a machinery showroom, which may generate some noises such as objects hitting the floor and creating a sound, forklift movement and occasional other short term noises.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This job requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Repetitive use of the hands and typing are required.

Requires frequent lifting of 1-10 pounds and occasional 11-25 pounds with infrequent lifting of 25 or more.

Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
