Senior IT Auditor – Investment Management

The IT Audit position is predominantly focused on helping the overall audit department and different areas of technology to come together. This role will be helping establish areas from a risk and control perspective. This person will be responsible for assessing key technology controls across the Group Companies.

Client Details

Our client is a global investment management firm with employees / offices scattered across the US.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Review technology risks associated with various objectives and evaluate the controls in place to mitigate those risks
  • Build technology audit programs based on the outcome of audits and the annual risk assessments
  • Coordinate audit coverage to work on different cyber security and data analytics projects
  • Collaborate with all areas of the business, with an emphasis on technology teams and management to prepare for audits, conduct interviews, examine documentation and communication of control weaknesses
  • Support in audit planning, preparing work papers and coordinating materials to analyze and test
  • Draft audit report findings and participate in meetings with management


  • Bachelors degree in business, information systems, accounting, finance, related field or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in IT audit, IT Risk or related field within technology
  • Strong supervisory, communications, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, project management and interpersonal skills.
  • Broad knowledge of the Company, Group and financial services industry, businesses supported and the regulatory framework they operate in.
  • Ability to apply technology or expertise to business issues or operational problems.
