With the Global Services division, starting Jan-2012, Open Systems has expanded into the ITO & BPO Projects/Solutions business.Job DescriptionPURPOSEThis role sits at the intersection of CASH trading and development to make sure US CASH Desk production releases comply with functional, regulatory and compliance requirements which are applicable to front office business activitiesProactively should identify requirement gaps, operational risks, control defects getting in to productionPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESStrong understanding of trading business and technology, US Equities markets, Equity Trade life cycle, Market Risks, Exchanges, Market Data, Regulatory and Compliance Requirements.Strong understanding of Fidessa front office Trading platform and related components.Review business requirements, creation and execution of functional, regression and integrated testing; positive and negative testing; develop test bed, test harness; test execution, pass/fail metrics.Strong knowledge of FIX protocol, SQL Queries, UNIX, QA tools and QA processesBackground in automation strategies and solutionsAbility to understand complex application architectures for integrating systems and environmentsComprehensive review of test plan and test cases of Fidessa Custom components to ensure adherence to business, regulatory, and operations requirements and performance.Review end to end functional and integration test results with developers, Support, product management, compliance, and business.Promptly escalate an issue, which affects product delivery and quality of production release.Required:Bachelor’s degree
